30 Weeks and Smooshed!

We had an ultrasound today because my belly is still measuring about a week bigger than it should be. My doctor wants to keep an eye on her from here on out to make sure she isn't getting too big!

She is getting really smooshed in there! Here is her face. Look at those cheeks! Doesn't it kind of look like she is pressing her face against a window?

They say that she weighs about 4 lbs. 4 oz., and all parts of her body are measuring big! We have a chunky little baby on our hands!

During the ultrasound we were able to see her opening and closing her mouth, as well as reaching for her foot with her hand! It was so cool! We love having the chance to see her!

Future Big Sister.

I found Twix relaxing like this the other day. What a goofy girl. Do you think she is trying to rest before all of the MAD CHAOS of having a baby around begins???

I will miss you.

I cannot believe that as I am writing this, I only have two more days with my students! As always, it has gone by so quickly.

It has been a FABULOUS two years with this group...I feel SO incredibly lucky to have met such wonderful families and students. THANK YOU ALL for everything...your time, support, encouragement, patience...it is all so appreciated!

I REALLY hope that you all stay in touch! Students, pretty please stop by next year and in the years to come! I will miss your smiling faces!

A peek at our little one!

At my 25 week check up I was measuring a little bit bigger than I should have been, so my doctor wanted me to do an ultrasound to check things out!  It was so wonderful to have another chance to see her!

By their measurements at 26 weeks, her head and legs are measuring ahead of schedule, but her body is right on track.  They are not going to change my due date, but they said that they might do another ultrasound closer to the final weeks to see how she is doing.  :)  Otherwise, she will just be a big-headed, long-legged perfection!
